Apologies for not having been here for a few weeks. I had some things popping up in real life that needed dealing with immediately, so I pushed my starting point concerning blogging and *finally* starting with my diet properly backwards a bit. Also, I wanted a cleared head before I concentrate on losing weight and writing here, so I dealt with all the private stuff throughout January.

Luckily I also managed to lose some weight. Not that much, only 3 kg alltogether, but it is a start :)

But before I get down and going, let me introduce to you some of my recent purchases. As I wrote before, I am building up my bag, shoe, jewellery, and accessoires collection and I constantly find items here and there that just scream "buy me, buy me NOW!" and who am I to resist ;) So I added several bags and boots to my belongings and more is to come, stay tuned.

The bag above I purchased via a shop on Ebay Germany, a nice, classic Kelly-Bag-style made from genuine leather and fabricated in Italy. The photo shows it lighter than it is, also, only after working on the pic I realized I should have removed the paper stuffing inside it came with, hence the little bulges on the side ;)

The above black bag in the style of the fantastic "Céline" bags is from Romwe, and made from PU, the quality is really good, though. I wished I could afford a proper Céline bag but as that is out of my reach - though I have hope for the future - I will make do with this little pretty thing. I had to lean it way backwards as the sides didn't want to stay open.

WINTER BOOTS AND SUMMER HEELS

Well, I decided to keep both boots from the previous post (the blue ones being more for the laughs, let's see what I might wear with them) and today checked out the summer shoes I ordered together with the boots. They are the same model, just different colours, brown and cream.

I think I will keep them both... I really like them and wouldn't be able to decide ;)

NEW YEAR'S BRUNCH

My brunch today. Schatzi and me slept really long and first only had coffee because we were not hungry yet at all ( I guess last night's yummy food and homemade eggnog at our friend's place really did us in - though I stayed away from any alcohol besides a sip of champagne at midnight due to still not being fully healthy again ). At around 13h we thought we finally need some food :)

Is this diet food? Not really - two eggs and bacon are not excatly known for their weightloss abilities. But as a combined breakfast and lunch to beat the staying-up-late-blues it really does the job. Also, if you make sure you don't overeat during the rest of the day, this is perfectly fine as a special treat

( I didn't lit the candles on purpose. My camera batteries were down and my phone doesn't take candle light or streetlamp light too kindly. ).

Mein Neujahrsbrunch. Schatzi und ich haben super-lange geschlafen und dann erstmal nur Kaffee getrunken, weil wir noch gar keinen Hunger hatten ( das tolle Essen letzte Nacht und der selbstgemachte Eierlikör bei unseren Freunden haben uns wohl abgefüllt, obwohl, ich habe bis auf einen Schluck Sekt um Mitternacht nichts getrunken, ich bin immer noch nicht wieder ganz fit ). Gegen 13 Uhr brauchten wir dann aber mal was zu essen :)

Ist dies Diätessen? Nicht wirklich - zwei Eier und Speck sind nicht unbedingt für ihre Abnehmeigenschaften bekannt. Aber als Brunch gegen die lange Nacht hat's seine Wirkung getan. Außerdem, wenn man darauf achtet, den Rest des Tages nicht zuviel zu essen kann dies als Ausnahme mal durchgehen ( Die Kerzen habe ich absichtlich nicht angezündet. Meine Kameraakkus waren alle leer und mein Handy mag weder Kerzenlicht noch Straßenlampen. ).

CHRISTMAS PRESENTS

My Christmas presents were lovely as always. Among stuff like books, sweets, cosmetics and money, I also got two handbags. I have only recently started to add handbags (and jewellery) to my belongings, when I decided that I need to turn my life around and stop being the overweight girl with the baggy black clothes, the flat shoes and the ponytail.

Because I used to be so different. I was the one you wouldn't catch bringing the trash out without make-up on. I would spend ages in front of the mirror, making sure everything was perfect. I would do my hair until it was a mass of shiny waves and curls.

Where had it all gone wrong? When did I turn into the person I am right now? I can't put my finger on it but I know I don't want to stay in this place.

So besides losing weight and changing my body frame, I am also in the process of changing my wardrobe ... well, not yet... and my accessories which includes shoes, bags and jewellery.

I have bought countless rings over the past months, big and bold rings which make a nice change from my classic real gold and silver rings :) There are occasions for all of it to be worn so I am looking forward to choose the right jewellery for the upcoming occasion or just for work or holidays... I can't wait!

Anyway... I also purchased bags and I was also given one each by my parents and my boyfriend for Christmas.

My taste in bags is not so much on the fancy side, it has never been. I prefer them to be more classy than outrageous or wild but just like with everything else, this is personal style.

Meine Weihnachtsgeschenke waren wunderbar wie immer. Neben Sachen wie Büchern, Süßigkeiten, Kosmetik und Geld bekam ich auch zwei Handtaschen. Ich hab' erst kürzlich damit angefangen, Taschen und Schmuck zu "sammeln", nämlich als ich mich entschloß mein Leben zu ändern und nicht mehr die Dicke mit den schwarzen Schlabberklamotten, den flachen Schuhen und dem Pferdeschwanz zu sein.

Ich war doch mal ganz anders. Ich war die, die noch nichtmal den Müll runtergebracht hätte ohne geschminkt zu sein. Die ellenlange vor dem Spiegel stand bis alles perfekt war. Die an ihren Haaren herumwerkelte bis sie ein Haufen glänzender Locken waren.

Wann ging alles schief? Wann bin ich die geworden, die ich heute bin? Ich kann den Zeitpunkt nicht bestimmen, aber ich will so nicht bleiben.

Also ändere ich nicht nur mein Gewicht und meinen Körper, sondern auch meine Garderobe... ok, das doch noch nicht... und meine Accessoires, also Schuhe, Taschen und Schmuck.

In den letzten Monaten habe ich tonnenweise Ringe gekauft, große, knallige Ringe, die so ganz anders sind als der echte Gold- und Silberschmuck den ich auch besitze :) Es gibt aber für alles Tragegelegenheiten und ich freue mich schon darauf den richtigen Schmuck auszusuchen - für's Ausgehen, die Arbeit oder den Urlaub. Ich kann's kaum erwarten!

Jedenfalls... Ich habe auch Taschen gekauft und zu Weihnachten bekam ich zwei, eine von meinen Eltern und eine von meinem Freund.

Mein Geschmack, was Taschen betrifft, ist eher klassisch als schrill, das war schon immer so. Aber wie alles andere ist auch dies persönlicher Stil.

Mmmmh, I wanted to post my presents and start documenting my diet, but I have been too sick to do anything besides laying flat on my sofa and feeling sorry for myself. I am starting to be better though, so I hope that from tomorrow on I can blog regularly - I really need to continue my weight loss to be the slim girl in summer I want to be :) And in order to do that I need pressure - I do everything better under pressure.

So I hope to be online again tomorrow, twirling my camera at my Christmas presents and starting to note down my food intake and insane (*cough*) workouts. My beauty regimes. My daily battle with my hopeless hair. My... well, more later ;)

Mmmmh, ich wollte schon längst meine Geschenke hier posten und meine Diät anfangen niederzuschreiben, aber ich habe mich einfach zu krank für irgendwas gefühlt, was nicht mit auf-dem-Sofa-herumhängen und mir-selbst-leid-tun zu tun hatte (Upps, zweimal "tun" nacheinander, böseee^^). So langsam geht es mir aber wieder besser, also hoffe ich mal daß ich ab morgen regelmäßig bloggen kann - ich muß wirklich mit meiner Diät weitermachen um im Sommer so schlank zu sein wie ich werden möchte :) Und um das zu erreichen brauche ich Druck - ich mache alles besser unter Druck.

Ich hoffe also morgen wieder online zu sein, die Kamera um meine Weihnachtsgeschenke herumwirbeln zu lassen und endlich mit meinem Diättagebuch anzufangen - was ich esse und die Wahnsinnsmengen an Sport die ich täglich mache (*isklar*). Meine Pflegemarathons. Meine täglichen Kämpfe mit dem "Haare" genannten Mob auf meinem Kopf. Meine... ehm, ja, später mehr :)

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Merry Christmas to everyone out there celebrating this holiday xx

Here in Germany we celebrate on Christmas Eve - and mine was a short one, due to being sick. Schatzi and me were at my parents' place - my aunt was there, as well - and had some traditional food - potato salad and sausages with various salads and bread. However, something much more fancy was planned but due to me being knocked out and my Mum also having a throat infection, we just made something quick and easy.

It was a cozy evening nevertheless and quite some nice presents were exchanged. I will post mine tomorrow :)

Mein Heiligabend war kurz, da ich immer noch krank bin. Schatzi und ich waren bei meinen Eltern - meine Tante war ebenfalls da - und es gab traditionelles Essen - Kartoffelsalat und Würstchen mit verschiedenen Salaten und Brot. Eigentlich war etwas anderes geplant gewesen aber da ich seit Tagen ziemlich platt bin und meine Mutter an einer Halsentzündung leidet, haben wir uns für etwas Einfaches und Schnelles entschieden.

Es war trotzdem ein gemütlicher Abend und so einige schöne Geschenke wurden ausgetauscht. Meine werde ich morgen posten :)

NEW IN - GLOSSYBOX STYLE

Since the Glossybox Style started in October I am a subscriber and so far always ordered something. And I must say, I am very happy with every article I got until now - which says a lot as I mostly buy real leather concerning bags and shoes, the Glossybox Style stuff however is made from PU. But the quality really convinces me.

In October I received a small black bag with golden trimmings which I have used quite a lot since then as it has the perfect size to carry all your small stuff around with you.

In November I bought a very dark brown bag which comes without a shoulder strap and had a colourful scarf included (which I gave away as I am not the type to wear such scarves).

But the biggest trouble I had in December. I wanted a certain pair of boots - and a certain bag :) I really struggled and argued with myself but in the end I bought both - mainly because I had a 20€ discount on one article.

Now I am waiting for the January offers ^^

Im Oktober kam die Glossybox Style heraus und seitdem bin ich Kundin. Und ich muss sagen, ich bin sehr zufrieden mit jedem Artikel den ich bisher gekauft habe - was bei mir einiges bedeutet, denn zumeist kaufe ich Taschen und Schuhe aus echtem Leder, die meisten Sachen bei Glossybox Style sind jedoch aus PU. Die Qualität ist aber absolut überzeugend.

Im Oktober erhielt ich eine kleine schwarze Tasche mit goldenen Verzierungen, welche ich bisher ziemlich häufig benutzt habe, denn sie ist perfekt für all den täglichen Kleinkram.

Im November habe ich eine dunkelbraune Tasche gekauft, ohne Schultergurt, welche mit einem bunten Schälchen geliefert wurde (das Schälchen habe ich aber verschenkt, ich bin dafür nicht der Typ).

Die größten Probleme hatte ich im Dezember. Ich hatte mich in ein paar bestimmte Stiefeletten verliebt - und in eine bestimmte Tasche :) Ich habe wirklich mit mir gekämpft und am Ende beides gekauft - hauptsächlich weil ich auf einen Artikel 20€ Rabatt bekam.

Jetzt warte ich auf das Januarangebot ^^

It is still a week until Christmas Eve so I thought to put up a few photos I took during my midweek break a couple of weeks ago (I was with my boyfriend and my mother in a Center Parcs holiday park in the Netherlands). One day we had loads of fog and a fine mist was in the air, perfect for venturing out and playing with my camera.

Da es noch eine Woche bis Heiligabend ist möchte ich ein paar Bilder posten, die ich in meinem Kurzurlaub vor ein paar Wochen gemacht habe (ich war mit meinem Freund und meiner Mutter in Center Parcs in den Niederlanden). An einem Tag war es neblig und die Luft sehr diesig, perfektes Wetter um spazieren zu gehen und mit meiner Kamera zu spielen.

MY BLOG WILL BE BACK

And my blog is back - nearly. Because I am going on a small hiatus again: I will be on a midweek vacation until next Friday with no chance of accessing the internet. And after that I start a new job. So I decided to properly start the blog on Christmas Eve - by then I settled in, sorted things, and have an open mind again. See you then, I am really looking forward to it :)

Und der Blog ist wieder da - beinahe. Denn zuerst gibt es direkt wieder eine kurze Ruheperiode: Ich bin bis kommenden Freitag im Kurzurlaub, ohne Internetzugang. Und danach starte ich meinen neuen Job. Daher habe ich mich entschieden, den Blog an Heiligabend richtig zu beginnen - bis dahin habe ich mich eingewöhnt, alles geklärt und den Kopf wieder frei. YSL ARTY RINGS

YSL Arty Rings... I love them! Granted, they are not new on the market but they are as popular as ever and always sold out, so I hear. Their popularity most likely stems from the facts that they are simply something different than the average statement or cocktail ring and - that they are so huge and easily spotted.

So it is no wonder that there are many look-alikes floating around, also because not everyone can afford the roughly 300 € a real YSL ring costs, though the price is not totally off limits.

I personally love the reddish ring on the bottom left and the light blue one on the top left (is that bottom right one just taken in a different light or is it a brighter gold? I am not a fan really of that so-called "yellow gold").
If I could I would right away purchase both of the rings I fancy. Since that isn't really possible at the moment, I guess I have to make do with the knock-offs :)

YSL Arty Rings... ich liebe sie! Klar, sie sind schon was länger auf dem Markt aber ihre Popularität hat bisher nicht abgenommen und sie sind stets ausverkauft, zumindest nach dem was ich so höre. Ich denke sie sind so beliebt weil sie einfach anders aussehen als alle anderen Statement- oder Cocktailringe und - dass sie einfach so gross sind und man sie deshalb eben auch leicht an jemandem erblicken kann.

Daher ist es auch kein Wunder dass es soviele Knock-offs gibt; denn nicht jeder kann sich das Original von ca. 300 Euro leisten, obwohl der Preis jetzt nicht völlig überzogen ist.

Ich selbst liebe den rötlichen Ring links unten und den hellblauen links oben (ist der hellblaue Ring unten rechts in einem anderen Licht aufgenommen worden oder ist das Gelbgold - von dem ich kein Fan bin?).

Wenn ich könnte wie ich wollte würde ich mir die beiden Ringe kaufen. Aber da das momentan leider nicht möglich ist, muss ich wohl mit den Knock-offs vorliebnehmen :)

MY DIET

I thought it might make sense to chart my weight losing "on the blog". I have my ups and downs but generally, I am getting on quite well. I have quite some extra weight, so it will take several months still until I will feel good enough to start posting outfit shots, therefore detailling my diet here until I have reached my dream weight could be of help.

Sometimes I could really slap myself. I lost 30 kg two years ago just to gain it all (plus a bit more) back when I settled happily with my now-boyfriend. And now I have to lose it all AGAIN (plus a bit more)... And since it is so much and I am not in my 20's anymore, I need to do it slowly. I know I will never have the tight skin of a 20-year old who never gained a single gram anymore but I want to make sure it gets as good as can be. My goal is a small bikini next June when I go to Marbella again with my best friend :) We made a pact: When I lose all my extra weight, she will buy me any bikini I want, price doesn't matter (ok, I don't think I could choose one which hits with like 500 Euro ^^) and treat me to an evening out at our favourite Tapas Bar, Sangria included. Deal! Sweetheart, you will come to regret that :)

So, what is my ideal weight? Well, I am 1,67 m tall and have a medium bone frame and quite some curves (I already had proper hips at 10!). So, becoming really really slim is simply not possible. I once tried to get into the 50's kilo range and I literally had to live on green salads and crisp bread and soup, managing to lose 4 kg in like 6 weeks. Blergh, it was hard and I had stomach cramps that ended all stomach cramps! Hence, never again.

Over the years I realized that my perfect weight is 61 kg. This probably sounds like a lot for all those girls and women who want to be really slim but for me, it is what suits me best and I think that is what counts. Ofc it would be nice to be around 54 kg and be able to wear certain skinny clothes but I know I will not be happy trying to get there and therefore I have to make sure I am at my personal best. And I will. This blog is going to help me.

Mir kam's so dass es wohl Sinn machen würde meinen Gewichtsverlust hier im Blog festzuhalten und nachzuverfolgen. Ich habe gute und schlechte Tage, aber generell komme ich ganz gut voran. Ich wiege ziemlich viel, also wird es so einige Monate dauern bis ich mich gut genug fühle um Outfitfotos zu posten, daher könnte es hilfreich sein, meine Diät detailliert aufzuschreiben bis ich meine Traumgewicht erreicht habe.

Manchmal könnte ich mich echt ohrfeigen. Vor zwei Jahren habe ich 30 Kilo abgenommen, nur um sie (und noch ein bisserl mehr) wieder zuzunehmen, als ich mich mit meinem neuen Freund häuslich niedergelassen habe. Und jetzt muss ich das alles WIEDER loswerden (plus noch ein bisserl mehr)... Und da es so viel ist und ich nicht mehr in den 20-ern bin, muss es langsam angehen lassen. Ich weiss dass ich nie mehr die Haut einer 20-jährigen, die nie auch nur ein Gramm zuviel gewogen hat, haben werde, aber ich möchte sicherstellen, dass es so gut wie möglich wird. Mein Ziel ist ein schicker Bikini nächstes Jahr im Juni, wenn ich mit meiner besten Freundin wieder nach Marbella fliege :) Wir haben einen Pakt geschlossen: Wenn ich alles überschüssige Gewicht abgenommen habe, kauft sie mir einen Bikini, den ich toll finde, Preis egal (na gut, ein 500-Euro-Ding soll es nicht sein ^^) und lädt mich in unsere Lieblings-Tapas-Bar ein, Sangria inbegriffen. Deal! Schnucki, das wirst Du noch bereuen :)

Was ist also mein perfektes Gewicht? Ich bin 1,67 m gross und habe eine mittlere Knochenstruktur und ziemliche Kurven (Ich hatte schon mit 10 Hüften!). Superschlank ist also ausgeschlossen für mich. Ich hab's einmal versucht in die 50-er zu kommen und mich nur von grünem Salat, Knäcke und Suppen ernährt, was mir 4 Kilo Gewichtsverlust in 6 Wochen brachte. Blergh, das war übel und ich hatte die schlimmsten Magenkrämpfe, die man sich vorstellen kann! Nie wieder.
Ich habe in den letzten Jahren realisiert dass mein ideales Gewicht bei 61 Kilogramm liegt. Das klingt für manche sicher nach super-viel, aber es ist das Gewicht das mir am besten steht, bei dem ich mich wohlfühle und wobei ich nicht hungern muss und das ist dann auch richtig so. Klar, ich würde auch gerne bestimmte Klamotten tragen können, in die die sehr schlanken Mädels passen, aber ich weiss dass es mich nicht glücklich machen würde, dahin zu kommen und daher muss ich mich nach dem richten, was zu mir passt. Und das werde ich schaffen. Dieser Blog wird mir dabei helfen.

I can't wait until I have my old weight again (which will still take a while, as I am doing the weightloss thing slowly), because I am so looking forward to wear nice things again! In the old days, before I gained all those kilos, I was never a big dress wearer, but I think now I will be wearing them... And I found a few that I absolutely adore, I hope to find similar ones next year.

Ich kann es kaum erwarten mein altes Gewicht wiederzuhaben (was noch dauern wird, denn ich lasse es langsam angehen). Es gibt so viele schöne Sachen, auf die ich mich freue, vor allem Kleider! Ich war nie der Kleidertyp, aber ich denke, zukünftig werde ich sie auch tragen :) Und ich habe ein paar schöne gesehen, hoffentlich finde ich nächstes Jahr ähnliche.

OH SUMMER

I have an extreme obession with summer, sun, the beach, ocean, hot days just lying in the sand listening to the waves splashing onto the shore, the faint talk and laughter of other people... you know what I mean :)

I don't think this is very surprising, as many people like or love this scenery a lot. However, for me it is still rather new. Until I moved to Dubai in 2003 with my then-husband I wasn't such a big summer-sun-beach-etc. lover. I hardly cared about heat or travelling to warm places. I had spent summers in the US visiting family and been to California but still...

But since living in the UAE my opinion has changed. I could have summer all year long again (though I don't mind the occasional rainy day or a snowy Christmas). I don't know if I will ever live in a country like the UAE again but I can have my fix by travelling to warm places and my choice for the moment is Marbella in Spain as it fulfills all I am longing for. When I went there for the first time I fell in love immediately.

Ich bin verrückt nach Sommer, Sonne, Strand, Meer, an heißen Tagen im Sand liegen und den Wellen zuhören, dem entfernten Gesprächen und Lachen anderer Leute um mich herum... Ihr wißt was ich meine :)

Dies ist sicher nicht sonderlich überraschend, viele lieben den Sommer und das Meer. Für mich ist es noch recht neu. Bevor ich mit meinem Exmann 2003 nach Dubai gezogen bin, waren mir Sommer-Sonne-Strand-etc. schnuppe. Hitze oder Reisen in warme Gegenden haben mich nicht sonderlich interessiert. Ich habe mehrere Sommer in den USA verbracht, Familie besucht und war auch in Kalifornien aber...

Seit ich jedoch in den VAE gelebt habe, haben sich meine Ansichten drastisch verändert. Ich könnte das ganze Jahr über Sommer haben (obwohl ich nichts gegen einen gelegentlichen Regentag oder verschneite Weihnachten habe). Keine Ahnung ob ich je wieder in einem Land wie den VAE leben werde aber ich kann ja reisen und meine momentane Wahl ist Marbella in Spanien, weil es alles hat auf das ich so verrückt bin. Schon bei meinem ersten Besuch habe ich mich rettungslos verliebt.

I wanted to post about as to why I am not showing any photos of myself as of yet.

The reason is that I am on a strict diet atm to lose all that fat I gathered up over the past years. I mean, come on, I love fashion but nice things hardly look good on wobbly bodies and before I can even think about buying new things or trying on any of my old yet unused I want to make sure I look good... and fit well into those clothes.

I most likely will post photos of random parts of me but no full body shots. And I hope the blog will keep me under pressure to go on with the weight loss because I want to take part in all that fashion frenzy (though I however have a bit of a weird taste when it comes to certain kinds of clothes).

Since I cannot buy any clothes at the moment, I buy jewellery and accessories - and shoes. So I do not need to stack up on those once I am slim again :)

Ich wollte noch darüber schreiben, warum ich noch keine Fotos von mir zeige.

Der Grund ist dass ich momentan auf Diät bin um mal all das los zu werden, was ich den letzten Jahren so an Kilos zugelegt habe. Ich meine, mal ehrlich, ich liebe Klamotten aber wie gut sehen Sachen an einem zu runden Körper aus? Und bevor ich auch nur daran denke mir neues zu kaufen oder meine bereits vorhandenen aber noch ungetragenen Sachen anzuziehen möchte ich gut aussehen... und auch in diese Sachen gut rein passen.

Ich werde wahrscheinlich Bilder von einzelnen Körperbereichen posten, aber keine Ganzkörperaufnahmen. Und ich hoffe das dieser Blog mir genug Druck gibt, das ganze Abnehmen durchzuziehen - ich möchte endlich auch an diesem Fashionwahnsinn teilnehmen können (obwohl ich in manchen Klamotten schon einen komischen Geschmack habe).

Da ich ja momentan keine Kleidung kaufe, besorge ich mir Schmuck, Accessoires und Schuhe. Dann brauche ich da schon mal nicht mehr zulangen wenn ich endlich wieder schlank bin :)

NEW HEADER AND OTHER STUFF

Late it is but I still wanted to post a few words. I have been feeling a bit under the weather today, therefore I postponed my ring post. I spent most of my day on the sofa, with coffee and a blanket.

Next, I made a header *points up*. I haven't engaged in graphic making for... mmh... 6 years I think and back then I was quite good at creating things. So when I started out yesterday I realized I know nothing anymore and also, I had more or less no resources left so I had to scramble lots of info and stuff together before I could even think of making something. But for the first try in 6 years I think it went well.

Last but not least I changed the settings for the blog, so if I get more readers, it will hopefully all go as smooth as possible and spare me too much crap. But first, let's see where this all goes anyway :)

Ok, this was a rather short one, but then, I should go to bed, even though I am not tired at all (how can I be after being sprawled all over the sofa all day), but still, I want to get some things done when I get up. It is my last week of being on sick leave and I need to get some stuff finished.

Es ist spät aber ich wollte doch noch ein paar Worte posten. Heute ging es mir nicht so besonders gut, daher habe ich den Ringe-Post verschoben, da ich die meiste Zeit auf dem Sofa verbracht habe, mit viel Kaffee und einer Decke.

Ich habe einen Header für die Seite erstellt. Es ist gut 6 Jahre her daß ich das letzte Mal Grafiken gemacht habe und damals war ich recht gut darin. Daher war es schon komisch, wie wenig von damals übrig geblieben ist, als ich mich an den Header setzte, ich hatte nichts mehr auf das ich mich beziehen konnte und musste erstmal alles wieder mühsam zusammensuchen. Aber für den ersten Versuch nach 6 Jahren finde ich den Header ok.

Zu guter Letzt, ich habe die Einstellungen für die Seite geändert, alles ein bißchen "sicherer" gemacht (das hoffe ich zumindest), denn ich habe keine Lust auf Stress und fiese und (natürlich) anonyme Bemerkungen. Naja, mal schauen wie es wird und was überhaupt hierbei herauskommt :)

Ok, dies war jetzt ein kurzer Eintrag, aber ich sollte ins Bett gehen, auch wenn ich überhaupt nicht müde bin, wie auch, nachdem ich den ganzen Tag auf dem Sofa herumgegammelt habe... aber trotzdem, ich möchte morgen einiges erledigt bekommen, es ist meine letzte Krankwoche und manche Sachen will ich fertig haben.

ITEMS LOST AND FOUND

Phew, I finally managed to find both my camera loader and the CD with the photo editing program I have been searching frantically for. See, I cleared out my place, threw this away, put that in bags to donate or sell, sorted things and so on. And in the process to finding things easier and quicker again, I lost track of where I put everything ;) But now all is good, right after this entry I will load up the camera and install the program so I can start making pics, edit and consequently upload them.

What is it with the weather this year? After a mega-warm and sunny spring, we now have a cool and wet summer? Luckily it will be warm again from tomorrow on (and hopefully last) but right now it is windy, rainy and probably no more than 16 degrees. Granted, for my momentary situation - more about that another time - it is the perfect weather, but still, I prefer it warm, light and sunny.

Liebe Zeit, endlich habe ich sowohl das Ladegerät für meine Kamera als auch die CD mit dem Photobearbeitungsprogramm wiedergefunden, beides habe ich wie verrückt gesucht. Ich habe nämlich meine Wohnung ausgeräumt, umgeräumt, Sachen fortgeworfen, sortiert usw. Und während ich das gemacht habe um endlich mal alles leichter und schneller wiederfinden zu können, habe ich so einige Sachen aus den Augen verloren ;) Aber jetzt ist alles gut; direkt nach diesem Eintrag werde ich die Kamera aufladen und das Programm installieren, so daß ich mit dem Fotografieren, Bearbeiten und Hochladen anfangen kann.

Was ist bitte eigentlich mit dem Wetter los dies Jahr? Nach einem superheißen Frühling gibt es nun einen kühlen und feuchten Sommer? Glücklicherweise soll es ab morgen wieder wärmer werden (und es hoffentlich auch bleiben), aber im Moment ist es windig, regnerisch und sicher nicht mehr als 16 Grad. Ok, für meine momentane Situation - darüber ein andermal mehr - ist es das perfekte Wetter, aber dennoch, ich bevorzuge es warm, hell und sonnig.

WELL, HELLO...

Hello, this is my first post on this blog. I gave blogging various tries before and never really continued it, so this time I am determined to keep it up. I can't promise that I will be able to post every single day, but I hope to be updating often and regularly.

What will this blog be about? Well, about all the things I love - fashion, jewellery, cosmetics, travels, animals, books, photography, my family and friends... - also about my dreams and hopes and wishes. We'll see.

And I guess my boyfriend will also feature in my blog xD Though I have no idea yet what he will think about it...

Anyhow, I am glad I got started. Soon I will add a header - I first need to install a program like Photoshop onto my brand new laptop, so that I can make headers again - and more things to the sidebar. But for right now this is it.

I'll leave you with a good night, tomorrow I will take some pics of the rings and bags I purchased recently (and more is on the way, omg).

Hallo, dies ist mein erster Blogeintrag. Ich habe Bloggen schon öfter mal in Angriff genommen, aber irgendwann war dann immer wieder doch Ende. Dieses Mal möchte ich jedoch dabei bleiben. Ich kann nicht versprechen, dass ich es schaffen werde, jeden Tag zu schreiben, aber regelmässig soll es schon sein. Wir werden sehen :)

Worum geht es in diesem Blog? Nun, ich werde über alles schreiben, was ich liebe - Mode, Schmuck, Kosmetik, Reisen, Tiere, Bücher, Fotografie, meine Familie und Freunde - auch über meine Träume und Hoffnungen und Wünsche. Mal schauen, was dabei herauskommt.

Sicherlich werde ich auch meinen Freund hier einbinden. Was er dazu sagt, steht allerdings noch in den Sternen... ;)

Jedenfalls, ich bin froh dass ich angefangen habe. Bald kommt ein Header - ich muss erstmal wieder ein Bildbearbeitungsprogramm auf meinem neuen Laptop installieren - und mehr Inhalt auf der Seite. Aber im Moment muss es so reichen.

Für heute verabschiede ich mich mit einem Gute Nacht, morgen werde ich dann mal ein paar Bilder von den Ringen und Taschen machen, die ich mir kürzlich gekauft habe (und mehr ist unterwegs, Hilfe!).
